State Capabilities Assessment Synopsis
The State Capabilities Assessment Synopsis provides a high-level summary of the State’s recovery operations structure and relationship to that of the county and federal governments. It also includes an overview of recovery focus areas by RSF.
The purpose of the State Capabilities Assessment (SCA) is to document the State’s roles and capabilities in supporting recovery activities to restore, strengthen, and revitalize the communities impacted by the Maui wildfires. The SCA identifies recovery focus areas for which the State has statutory or regulatory responsibilities, as well as capabilities that can be leveraged in supporting County activities. It is intended to inform decision makers of the State’s recovery priorities and constraints.
